Dia de los muertos
The project we worked on involved us having to create a piece of artwork that displayed our self in skeleton form. We were required to use color and make our project interesting to the viewer. we also had to write a paragraph on our selves as though we where skeletons and describe our self and our family members. This stretched our thinking.

Reflection (Personal)
Over the past couple weeks working on this project I have had so much fun. I have learned so much more Spanish from stretching my vocabulary. Also I had a lot of fun doing the art work. I liked being able to create something that really described me and looked like me in a uniqe way. I enjoyed laughing with my friends as we compaired our skeletons, but also having individual work time to work on something I had a good time with. I loved having an exhibition and being able to display all my hard work to the public. It was a good experience being able to interact with people fluent in spanish at the exhibition. In all I am very happy I got the chance to create such a wonderful piece of work and have the opportunity to do this project!
FRIDA PROJECT
Maryln Monroe
-For this project we had to write three descriptive paragraphs about the Frida we chose. We had to write things such as our Frida's favorite clothes, symbols, and descriptions. We than had to draw a picture of our Frida and try to relate it to one of her paintings and add color, and like concepts.
3) Your 3
paragraphs in Spanish (Unavailable)
-I think Frida created so many different portraits of her as someone else because it was her stle of art, and she compared her self to others. She had one main point of interest, that always stood out, she would emphasize the eyebrows in the photo. it made it interesting when she would add different people in her paintings while she incorporated the eye brows.
- I feel like my picture came out really well, I wanted to keep it black and white, than I added color and I like the end product way better now with color. I put effort and time into my portrait.
-The picture I made Turned out different than i thought it would. My picture turned out coorful, and my original thought was black and white.
-From doing this project I learned how to conjugate words in Spanish. I also learned how to say my family member names in Spanish and what I am to them. My skeleton reflects me because I am a happy colorful person who loves to ski! I race on the ski team in Durango. I am really proud of my time I took on my skeleton to make it look fun and sparkly! The most difficult thing about this project was revising my paper to make it perfect. Next time I would think about my time limit, and hold my self back from procrastinating.

Our last project we did in Spanish was our Frida project. We first learned about Frida than we chose someone who we wanted to transform into a Frida. I chose Maralyn Monroe. We than wrote three paragraphs on our Frida and translated it into Spanish. My Frida has a cat as its symbol and is in New York. I really enjoyed this project and got a lot out of it.
