Elements and principals of design:
Critiques are tools to help artists/audience understand, improve, or evaluate a piece of art.
Elements of design: The raw meterials of an artist, the visual components of art.
Value: Value refers to dark and light. Value contrasts help us see and understand a two dimentional work of art. Value contrast is also evident in colors, witch enables us to read shapes in a painting.
Texture: Texture refers to the surafce quality, both simulated, and actual of artwork. Techniches in paintings serve to show texture.
Space: Actual space is a 3 dementioal volume that can be empty or filled with objects. It has witdth, hight, and depth. The object and the picture plain is devided into negative and positive space.
Line: Line is a mark made by a pointed tool. Often defined as a moving tool. A line is created by a moving tool, and pigment.
Form: Shape and form are the same exect form is three dimenssional. Both may be organic or inorganic, free form or geometric, open or closed, natural or man made.
Shape: Shape is an area that is contained within an implined line, or is seen or identified because of color or value changes. Shapes have two dimentional length and witdth, and can be geometric or free form.
Color: Color depends on light because it is made of light. There must be light for us to see color. The lighter the light the more true the colors will be. Hue, value, and intensity are the three main characters of color.

Reflection:
Overall this project went really well, I enjoyed being able to make a movie video with a partner of my choice. If i had to redo this again i would get a bigger veriety of people to interview from our osprey week. I think the en dpiece of this turned out really well, and i refined the video many times, and had alot of fun with it!
Design your own project:
I learned in this project, that I was more capable of painting and doing art than i thought. I also learned that making your art abstract makes your art interesting and makes it nice for the viewer. I really thing i used adaptability in this project, because i had to adapt to my mediums, and adapt to my brushes and style. A 21st century learner is someone who used the 21st century survival skills. These skills are really important.This could help me in my future if i want to do something with art, or am interested in viewing art. Overall, it was a really successful project that isn't perfect, but really surprised me.
Principals of design: How to use the elements to create art.
LANDSCAPES: Understanding distance with scale and proportion
In this project i learned alot. I ralized how much you can do with photo shop and how important it can be fro your future. I also learnd about distance, and proportion depends on distance. When we did the model in the hallway, I got alot out of the project. I also realize how proportion is sorrounding us in our every day lives. I enjoyed doing this project. I learned alot about the quick selection, and magic eraser tool. I really enjoy using the faded eraser tool, because it helped me make the fog for my background. I realize i needed to make the titles smaller as in proportion.
- The steps that I took in this project included picking and interviewing a teacher, than going in and transforming them into a creature. We had to learn different tools and refine our edges and create layers.
- The hardest part of this project for me was perceiving through the project to get it done. i lost my time management skills, and had to restart and finish in just a couple days. It was a really big learning experience though.
- My favorite part of this project was picking Jessica as my teacher to turn into a creature. I really enjoyed getting to know her better and learn the tools in Photo shop.
- I have learned that i am capable of anything. In the beginning i was really unsure about my project, because Photo Shop was very confusing to me. I became nervous because i was scared i wouldn't finish because i was confused on the topic. I learned if you put your mind to something and advocate, you can do anything.
